I would like to inform you that SI of Israel is cooperating with the Golda Meir Mount Carmel International Training Center in the organization of an International Symposium on-

" Women’s Voice in Conflict Resolution and Peace-Building "

 which will take place between 2 – 7 November, 2003 in Haifa.

 

The Symposium will bring together women leaders from the public and associative sectors, to evaluate the role of women in development, conflict resolution and in peace-building at all levels of society.

 

The participants will review gender issues, remold concepts of women’s rights and recommend strategies and options for shaping the future of their societies. 

 

The Symposium is intended for 50-60 women leaders active in public life and for representatives of international agencies.  Attached are the Symposium program and registration form for information to the union members.
