New resolutions
Three topical Statements were passed at the ICJW Convention in Prague in May 2014, expressing the concerns of the organization about three current issues.

Statement about Israel:

ICJW affirms its support for Israel and condemns the currently increasing boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaign which impacts Israel and all of its citizens, and others employed in its industries.

Statement about Nigeria:

ICJW
1. Expresses its horror at the kidnapping and trafficking of girls in Nigeria.
2. Deplores that they are to be sold for forced marriage and sexual slavery.
3. Is outraged that girls who are seeking an education can have their human rights
    ignored.
4. Expresses solidarity with the families of the girls and  support for the governments
    that are assisting the Nigerian government to rescue them.

Statement about Human Trafficking:

ICJW:
1. Deplores that all forms of human trafficking are on the increase globally;
2. Recognizes that the sale of human beings for commercial sexual exploitation,
    forced labour, forced marriage, and the removal of organs for sale all amount to
    contemporary forms of slavery;

ICJW calls on all Governments and International Organisations to work collaboratively to adopt a position of “zero tolerance” by:
1. Enacting laws for the prevention of all forms of contemporary slavery and
    trafficking;
2. Protecting the victims;
3. Prosecuting the perpetrators.
